As an intern in Controlling, you will be involved in all aspects of the Control profession. You will work on monthly reports and performance management for management, you will contribute to the analysis and reporting of investment costs, you will work on periodic Activity Based Costing analyses and you will help the controllers with testing and analyzing business cases and drawing up financial insight and policy. You will also contribute to the development and improvement of processes in the field of data visualization and automation of reporting processes. Turning the theory into practical experience within a large and leading company in the Netherlands, is of added value for your cv. This will lay the foundation for a successful career in the financial world.
Within Finance, the Business Control department is responsible for developing, implementing and advising on the business economic policy with regard to APG Asset Management and/or with regard to clients (mainly pension funds). As a department, we do this to enable financial accountability and pro-active and business-oriented management. In this way, we ensure the continuity of the business unit and the achievement of the business objectives set.
- You follow a relevant HBO college or university course in the field of Economics;
- You are available almost full-time for a period of about 6 months;
- You want to develop yourself and work on your own career;
- You have good analytical skills and judgment;
- You are a team player but you can also work independently;
- You are proactive and want to make a difference';
- You will be based at our office in Amsterdam.
