Are you the meticulous and quality driven Officer we are looking for within Alternative Investment Administration (AIA) backoffice team? Do you possess well-developed communication and analytical skills? Then we would love to hear your story.

This role is a financial accounting and related controls/process role with exposure to several stakeholders involved.
As an AIA Officer you are a team player while working with considerable autonomy. In this challenging role you are responsible for the daily processing of financial orders and the distribution of requested data sets (and performing the accompanying checks within prescribed procedures), so that files are up to date, (payment/transaction) orders have been processed in the ledger and data and information-processing has been completed. The AIA Officer we are looking for is a point of contact for the associates in the team and is dedicated for their success. Based on your knowledge and experience, you will give input for improvements in the processes within the AIA team, but also within the chain of Operations. Finally it is important that you will take initiatives to complete your own knowledge and understanding of processes, systems, procedures and prevailing regulations for the current process treatment.

The Alternative Investment Administration (AIA) is part of Asset Management Operations. The objectives of the Alternative Investment Administration team are to deliver accurate, timely and high quality alternative products and services: deal implementation (deal set up in (financial) systems), commitment administration, processing of transactions, investment  monitoring, daily, monthly and quarterly valuations review and data processing, costs reporting and back testing.

A proactive work attitude comes natural to you and you possess well-developed analytical skills. You are meticulous and are able to collaborate easily with colleagues inside and outside the team. Your well-developed communication skills enable you to convey information clearly.

Furthermore we ask for:
  • Professional and intellectual level obtained through higher professional education with 5 years of work experience OR a University education with 3 years of work experience;
  • An audit background (RA) within one of the Big Four audit firm is a distinct advantage;
  • Relevant work experience within a Global Asset Management environment is an advantage but no must;
  • You are constantly seeking ways to improve processes and know how to include your colleagues in this;
  • Good communication skills in English and in Dutch (spoken and written);
  • Location Heerlen.
