As an AIA Associate you know how to deal with various situations and you are capable of asking the right questions.  You actively network, are proactive and you focus (with) your team on achieving results.  Working under daily time pressure in such an environment is not a problem for you and you are familiar with the financial products and their characteristics.  As an Associate you are a natural born team player while working with considerable autonomy. In this challenging role you are responsible for the correct processing of all related events related to our portfolio of Alternative Investments, consisting amongst others out of Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Equity and other Alternative Real Assets.

The Alternative Investment Administration (AIA) is part of Asset Management Operations. The objectives of the Alternative Investment Administration team are to deliver accurate, timely and high quality alternative products and services, amongst others: deal implementation, commitment administration, processing of events, investment  monitoring, daily, monthly and quarterly valuations, costs reporting and valuation back testing.

We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who can cope with stress, is convincing, decisive and is focused on delivering quality. A proactive work attitude comes natural to you and you possess well-developed analytical and social skills. You are very meticulous and are able to collaborate easily with colleagues inside and outside the team. Your well-developed communication skills enable you to convey information clearly.
Furthermore we ask for:

  • a bachelor/university degree in financial economics, business economics or business administration;
  • no more than 2 years’ experience, preferably within a financial institution / asset management environment;
  • An audit background within one of the Big Four audit firm is an advantage;
  • affinity with automated systems and MS Office in general (including VBA Excel);
  • a strong analytical background and knowledge of databases;
  • Good communication skills in English and in Dutch (spoken and written);
