As an Analyst you are a natural born team player while working with considerable autonomy. In this challenging role you are responsible for the correct processing of all related events related to our portfolio of Alternative Investments, consisting amongst others out of Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Equity and other Alternative Real Assets. The Analyst we are looking for is amongst others the content related go-to person for the officers and associates in the team, primary point of contact for the other teams within Operations and for Portfolio Management. The Analyst is dedicated to their success. Based on your knowledge and experience, you will initiate and coordinate improvements within the AIA domain, but also within Operations. A role as supervisor could be part of the job. In addition you can act as a sparring partner for the team manager.
The Alternative Investment Administration (AIA) is part of Asset Management Operations. The objectives of the Alternative Investment Administration team are to deliver accurate, timely and high quality alternative products and services, amongst others: deal implementation, commitment administration, processing of events, investment monitoring, daily, monthly and quarterly valuations, costs reporting and valuation back testing.
We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who can cope with stress, is convincing, decisive and is focused on delivering quality. A proactive work attitude comes natural to you and you possess well-developed analytical and social skills. You are very meticulous and are able to collaborate easily with colleagues inside and outside the team. Your well-developed communication skills enable you to convey information clearly.
Furthermore we ask for:
- Professional and intellectual level obtained through higher professional education with around10 years of work experience OR a University education with around 8 years of work experience;
- An audit background (RA) within one of the Big Four audit firm is an advantage;
- Relevant work experience within a Global Asset Management environment;
- You are constantly seeking ways to improve processes and know how to include your colleagues in this;
- Good communication skills in English and in Dutch (spoken and written);
- Location Heerlen.
