You spend two years working in different departments and close attention is paid to your personal growth. You have the opportunity to follow training programs and you are challenged to explore various issues within the organization, varying from pension administration to ICT. You also are assigned a coach during this period.
During the traineeship, I have seen that I find that broad issues at the cutting edge of organizational change, modernization and innovation are incredibly interesting to me. In my current job as Business Manager Innovation, I am truly able to work on this. In my current department, the GroeiFabriek, we are working on disruptive innovation for APG in the areas of artificial intelligence and blockchain, among others. We expressly collaborate with various large parties and startups, because we are convinced that we can make a difference together. We experiment with predicting the questions people will ask when calling us at the Customer Contact Center, and creating a pension administration in the blockchain. Here we meet various challenges, and it is therefore really interesting to be involved in organizing this as a Business Manager. APG continues to interest me this way, and it is still a great company to work for.
