We consider the following characteristics of our employees to be of importance.

Everything that we do is directed at our customers; thus at the employees, pensioners and employers for whom we work. We expect that our employees are able to identify and understand what customers want and that they aim to provide optimal service. This is why we believe it is important that people feel happy and healthy. Because people that feel well, radiate this and enjoy doing their work more.
• Results-oriented
We consider it important that employees are aware of APG’s goals and objectives and that they actively contribute to the realisation of these goals and objectives. But also that they are able to anticipate any obstacles.
• Innovative
We expect from employees that they can translate external developments into improvements in the business processes and that they are able to identify ways to improve their own work. We stimulate our employees to come up with ideas and implement these ideas in practice. Because innovation is necessary in order to remain in the vanguard in the rapidly changing world of pension asset management.
• Directed at cooperation
The collective is important at APG. We consider teamwork important. We expect from our employees that they are able to contribute effectively to the realisation of a common goal together with others.
