Mark Boerekamp to become Chief Operations Officer at APG

Heerlen, 9 January 2012 - APG has appointed Mark Boerekamp (41) as Chief Operations Officer (COO). Mark Boerekamp will begin employment on February 1, 2012. In his position as COO he will be responsible for pension management (pensions administration) and the collection process of premium contributions. His portfolio within the Executive Board will also include IT infrastructure.

Mark Boerekamp is currently a senior partner at Accenture. He has more than eleven years’ experience in financial services, of which six years as a partner. Previously, Mark worked at Daimler Chrysler. He started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and has a background in, among other things, business economics and accounting.
